Oster TSSTRTS2S2 2-Slice Toaster, Brushed Stainless Steel

Oster 2 Slice Toaster
I went by the product reviews when purchasing this toaster. What I wanted was a stainless steel toaster to match my kitchen and a toaster that will push up any small bread I put in it. This meets all my requirements. I also love it that I can retract the cord. It's working perfectly for me. I also love seeing the count down to when my toast will pop up...not a necessity but fun! The bread crumb tray slides out and I put it in the dishwasher. Glad I purchased this toaster.

Great toaster
I bought this toaster at a big box store on clearance. Afterwards, I read some bad reviews online on different sites. So, I was disappointed and thought I had made a bad mistake. Well, those reviews were wrong! This toaster is excellent! It toasts everything perfectly, has a countdown timer, is beautiful to behold, and I have no regrets whatsoever. Highly recommended!

Hope It Lasts
My wife is happier with this toaster than people should be about any kitchen gadget as far as I'm concerned. It takes 3 minutes to make 2 slices of dark-medium toast. You can watch the countdown on the digital display. Push the cancel button any time to end the cook cycle and pop the toast. You only deploy as much power cord as you need, and it retracts with the push of a button...which is really great for folks who store their toasters away until needed. The bread slots are wide enough for bagels but regular bread is centered in the slots by an internal basket mechanism so even toasting is promoted. Bagels toast only on one side when bagel cooking is selected. We haven't used the "frozen" setting, and probably won't.
Toasters are just one of those things people don't agree on I guess. Every toaster on Amazon is loved and despised by groups of people. I couldn't find a clear winner based solely on reviews. If this thing dies within a year or two I will be unhappy, but it's...
