Honeywell CO25AE 52 Pt. Indoor/Outdoor Portable Evaporative Air Cooler with Remote Control - Grey

Like an arctic breeze in the brutal hot desert.
To start I live in one of the hottest, driest climates in the United States. Living in Las Vegas can be so much fun and exciting, except for the three months of brutal dry heat. It is not uncommon to have $350-$400 electric bills. I keep my house at 85 degrees in the summer and still have bills that are a shock. This evaporative cooler has changed all that. It's 90 degrees at 8:00am and I am under the covers because the cooler is running and its making it a little too cool in my room. This cooler is awesome I take it with me into the room that I am in and have not had to turn on the central air yet.
I will tell you I was worried at first because when I first got it and filled it up, it was spitting out tons of water and was making so much noise. I let the cooler run all night and now it works like a dream. I think the water pad needed to get moist. It is suppose to be 103 today with a 5% humidity and I think it will be just fine.

Honeywell CO25AE Air Cooler
Sturdy product, excellent water capacity, good cooling with massive air flow.
On the down side, it's noisy for indoor use and has an odor from the honeycomb, the rollers could be improved.

A Lab/Shop Essential built to last
My R&D lab temp reaches 117 degrees in the summer; This evaporative A/C runs 24/7 and keeps it down to about 80 degrees. The best designed evaporative cooler on the market - Well built / Great capacity / Easy fill. This unit was built to last. // Update August 21; water pump failed, downgraded rating to 4 stars. Water pump failure is a common problem with all evaporative coolers. This cooler uses a small submersible and could be replaced easily with an approx 200-300 gph pump (PP29105 from amazon) and basic electronic skills. Still stand by this cooler as the best on the market...
