Same item I should have bought when I bought the washer/dryer
I made the mistake of failing to buy the stacking kit when I bought my new washer/dryer. As a result, the installers couldn't stack them, and to order the kit from the big box store would cost another $69 in "delivery" and take another week. After confirming this was the same item, I was delighted to order it here and receive it the next day. Installation and stacking on our own was easy--the hardest part was, of course, lifting the dryer high enough to stack, but once we got it there, we experienced none of the endless fiddling around trying to get its feet locked into place that we feared.
Good product
This product is easy to instal and does exactly what it's designed to do. You will of course need someone to help you lift the dryer, but can complete the instal in just a few minutes.
Easy to install. Lifting the dryer is another story.
The kit installs super easy. I recommend that you position the washing machine exactly where you want it before lifting the dryer on top. Sliding the washer around after the fact can effect the leveling feet and it will be much harder to adjust them with the weight of the dryer on top. We've been using the washer/dryer in this configuration for a few weeks now and we love it.
