Works Great
This is a wonderful product. You may want to use a polishing compound with it AFTER it is finely sharpened. Don't use it with a dull knife.

I have been having the lansky system for a while now. It works very well for my purposes. I have a home made strop, but this one just makes it much easier to maintain a consistent angle and get a razor sharp edge.

I own 12 different lansky sharpeners, from the basic set to the diamond set I think there one fo the best systems out there.A stroup has to be long enough to stroke the blade. an old belt seems to do a better job
