Dreamgear DGWII-3116 Black Power Base Quad for Nintendo Wii

Would recommend this product
I had previously tried a different charger and had issues with it so decided to give this one a try. I am pleased with this charger. It is an induction charger (meaning there are not specific contacts on the batteries that have to line up to be charged) so you can put the batteries/remotes in any configuration on the charger to charge (batteries by themselves, in remote with or without a cover on the remote). One of the previous reviews I read claimed that this only charged by a timer (did not really sense how much charge the batter had left) but that is not correct. Yes, if you put a fully charged battery on the charger, the LED will go red indicating it is charging, but in just a couple of minutes it will go blue. Overall, I would recommend this as a very convenient charger.

Mine has a Sync button right on the cover.
I too had a bad experience with another brand of charger and re-chargeable batteries with conductors/contacts. So I just purchased and received this model. I'm seeing a lot of negative feedback concerning the necessity to install alkaline/non-rechargeable batteries in order to sync to the Wii console. But mine has a little button right on the cover placed directly over where the little red button is located under the cover. I just used a tooth pick, pushed the little button on the cover and voila! Sync achieved on all four of my Wiimotes! Oh, be sure to allow enough charging time for there to actually be enough charge life in the battery packs to power on the Wiimotes and perform the sync is all.

They work great even with the sleeve covering the unit. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting re-chargeable batteries in their Wiimotes. One thing I did notice is that the batteries become warm if the remote unit is removed and replaced into the charging saddle too...

Glad I bought it!
The rechargeable batteries work quite well in our new all-in-one Motion plus remotes. I had a moment of anxiety when I first went to put them in because the fit is very tight, but line it up well and it will snap in. So easy to charge and use. Very unobtrusive in our main living area. I love that the battery pack will charge on its own or inside the remote--a great convenience. The only inconvenience with the rechargable battery packs (all of them) is that you need a set of regular batteries to connect your remote to the Wii console since the connect button is inside the battery compartment. But that's not a big deal. Well worth the money savings.
